Olivier Alexandre is a Research Fellow at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Associate Professor at Sciences Po, and Deputy Director of the French Internet and Society Center. His research focuses on technology, culture, and politics.
He co-leads two research groups within the GDR Internet, AI and Society: one on “Digital Capitalism and Its Ideologies” (with Benjamin Loveluck) and another on “Criticizing AI: AI Through Its Controversies” (with Marie Garin and Félix Tréguer).
Alexandre has published several books on the film industry, culture, and the tech industry, including Tech: When Silicon Valley Remakes the World (California University Press, 2025).
